The site was created through Microsoft FrontPage 2000. FTP was accomplished through WS FTP LE 6.0.

The trip map was produced by Microsoft Trips and Streets 2002. The map was then brought into Photoshop (7.0) and cropped and saved as a lower resolution JPG. The thumbnail of the map was automatically created through FrontPage.

The filmstrips were created mostly with Auto FX Dreamsuite. After the creation I brought them back into Photoshop for cropping and a slight compression. The image map was created in FrontPage.

The "Guestbook" and "Tell-A-Friend" are free tools through Bravenet, as is the page counter.

The web site is free (ad supported) and is hosted through www.0catch.com. I selected this site purely on the basis of the large amounts of files that they will allow and didn't have a clue how much space would be needed.

The coffee of choice during construction and site updates was/is Kona Premium, roasted a little darker than anyone else can appreciate. Entertainment was provided by Lance Armstrong and an awesome collection of MP3s.

Site was tested with Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0, Mozilla 1.7, and Firefox 0.9.2.

 

While updating the site I always had a browser open as I followed Lance Armstrong's quest for his historic 6th Tour de France title.
